Abstract: |
Bone had been encountered during the digging, and the spoil heap contained many human skeletal fragments, but no major bones were seen. There was also rubble of a nature seen in the extant building fabric, although nothing diagnostic, and some sherds of heavily abraded medieval pottery. It was doubtful whether any significant archaeological remains could have been encountered by the current development. [AIP] |
