Abstract:		 A watching brief was undertaken during groundworks for the enlargement of the water reclamation works on Bath Lane. It was identified that most of the site had been subject to waste disposal earlier this century as shown by the presence of a dark, mixed deposit containing bricks, metal and glass. No earlier deposits or features were encountered. [AIP]
