Abstract: |
During the course of the watching brief 13 brick barrel vaulted burial vaults were exposed within the nave and aisles of the church, all of which were cleaned and recorded but left in situ. All of the vaults appeared to relate to 19th century burial activity. No early foundations of the medieval church were exposed though one chalk rubble foundation may have related to a medieval pillar base. [Au(abr)] |
