Abstract: |
The monitoring was carried out during the excavation of a pond, at the landowners own interest. The excavations revealed alluvial sequences of a natural origin, as well as an undated but suspected post-medieval hearth and charcoal deposit. No evidence for activity relating to the adjacent hillfort was forthcoming, although very little of the excavation of the pond was monitored. [Au(adp)] |
