Abstract:
A two-stage evaluation of the development site was undertaken. The study comprised a preliminary magnetometer survey followed by trenching of selected anomalies. A number of small ditches of uncertain date were identified. One ditch contained evidence of salt-production in the form of one sherd of briquetage apparently of Iron Age date. [Au]
