Abstract: |
<summary>A programme of work was undertaken to record a structure located beside the Nailsworth Stream at Dudbridge, following its demolition in 1990. The structure was constructed c1779 and had been added-to subsequently. The original function of the structure was not determined by the work, although sluices and culverts associated with the building were interpreted as features which may have provided a regulated supply of water to a dye-works situated c100m to the north. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} GLOS11846 |
