Abstract: |
The proposed development, an area of 0.65ha, was in the historic village of Woodhurst. The development would involve the construction of houses and related services. The site lay within a potentially rich archaeological landscape and had a moderately high potential for archaeology, from all periods. Topographically, it was situated on quite a prominent position. Romano-British remains were located north and east of the site and there was evidence of Anglo-Saxon/medieval occupation, including human remains, only 130m north-west of the site. [Au(abr)] |
