Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained during operations for the de-trunking of the A46 through Millgate (which overlies the line of the Roman Fosse Way) as Part IV of an overall scheme. A late 18th/early 19th century brick culvert and post-medieval build-up of Millgates street surface level was identiifed. No trace of the Roman road was identified. [AIP] |
