Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a school. Finds of mesolithic to bronze age date and late prehistoric features had been recorded in the surrounding area. Occasional Roman and early medieval artefacts had also been found. During the evaluation, three flint flakes and a fragment of early bronze age pottery were recovered. Post-medieval rubbish pits and garden-related features were observed. It was concluded that no further archaeological work would be necessary. [AIP] |
