Abstract: |
Observations were made during the excavation of a trench for a replacement water main. No archaeological remains had been recorded in the vicinity of the pipeline route, but field names potentially indicative of activity relating to the post-medieval Blackdown whetstone industry had been recorded on the SMR, for the area through which the pipeine passed. During the watching brief, no archaeological features or artefacts were observed. [AIP] |
