Abstract:
Archaeological recording was undertaken following the discovery of an extended inhumation during earthmoving operations at Cranbourne Farm. The orientation of the burial and lack of any grave goods suggested a probably Christian burial rite, possibly associated with a settlement enclosure identified on aerial photographs. [AIP]
