Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the stripping of topsoil at the site of a new access road, which lay adjacent to the presumed route of a Roman road. A Bronze Age axe had been found 500m to the north. During the watching brief, no archaeological deposits or artefacts were encountered. [Au(abr)] |
