Abstract: |
The evaluation followed an earlier desk-based assessment of the site. The test pits identified deep deposits of post-Roman silty clays. These deposits were overlain by a series of post-medieval surfaces, probably connected to the use of the site as a brewery. A well and drain were also located and probably connected with the brewery buildings. [Au(abr)] |
