Abstract: |
Four trenches were mechanically excavated at the site. Nine archaeological features (seven post holes/pits, and two ditches/gullies) were identified and excavated. No direct dating evidence was recovered, but the presence of ironworking slag in some of the features suggested a broadly medieval date.[Au] |
