Abstract: |
The only feature of archaeological interest observed during the evaluation was a shallow ditch which crossed the south-western part of the site. Similar features previously observed from adjacent sites had been interpreted as late prehistoric boundary ditches, and in the absence of dating evidence this may have been tentatively interpreted as another of those features. Only a few finds were recovered, however, these included 5 struck flint flakes which, together with the ditch, suggested at least a minor prehistoric presence in the locality. [Au] |
