Abstract: |
Excavation close to the line of the Great Cockey and the lost church of St Cross or Crux revealed that most of the medieval and later deposits had been removed by recent structures but that the earliest levels survived. These indicated that occupation in the area probably began in the 12th century. [Au(abr)] |
