Abstract:		 A small excavation was undertaken, following earlier work at the site, in response to a pipeline and sewerage scheme. A scatter of medieval pottery had previously been recovered from this area. Further amounts of 13th and 14th century pottery were recovered, probably having been transported from a settlement area by soil creep and hillwash. [Au(abr)]
