Abstract: |
Evaluation in advance of development, involving geophysical survey, documentary research and targeted trenching found little archaeology. Anomalies from survey with a magnetometer proved to be natural features whilst a single ditch was found during excavation. This could not be dated, but contained Bronze Age and Iron Age backfill. Assessment of the environmental potential of the area concluded that this was poor. [AIP] |
