Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was conducted to evaluate the impact that a proposed extension and the construction of a detached garage would have on the remains of the Roman town (to support an application for Scheduled Monument Consent). Artefacts of Roman and medieval date were found within the excavated trenches, although there was no evidence of substantial archaeological remains within the excavated trenches. [Au(adp)] |
