Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation, comprising the excavation of ten trial trenches, was undertaken following the submission of a planning application for the construction of new housing. Several ditches/gullies dating to the medieval period were found close to the earthworks in the south-west of the site. A possible Roman ditch was also found in the western portion of the site.
