Abstract: |
The watching brief produced no evidence for any human activity of any period within the development site. Only three contexts were recorded, and one of these was a modern levelling deposit. The others were clays and silts that appeared to be esturine deposits associated with the Old River Ancholme floodplain. No peat deposits or other significant palaeoenvironmental horizons were identified within any of the excavations. [Au(abr)] |
