Abstract: |
The assessment was carried out prior to the expansion of the limestone quarry. The results of the investigation were that the site was seen to lie within a wider archaeological landscape which incorporated such things a Roman burials and prehistoric findspots, although no archaeological finds or features were known to occur in the immediate vicinity.
