Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation, consisting of a desk based assessment and the excavation of five 12m by 1.6m trial trenches was undertaken prior to the determination of planning permssion for residential development of the site. The excavation revealed a large recut boundary ditch of Iron Age date, a Romano-British gully and a scatter of undated features. [Au(adp)] |
