Abstract: |
A single 2m by 10m trench was excavated across the footprint of the proposed dwelling place as an evaluation in response to a condition upon planning permission. There were no finds of archaeological significance. Overlying the natural Thanet Sands was a garden soil which contained material dating to the 18th century and which was still being used as a garden until very recently. [Au(adp)] |
