Abstract: |
The investigations were undertaken prior to the development of the site into residential buildings. The desk based assessment showed that the site lay within the medieval village. As no archaeological work had been undertaken on the site, the only other recorded monument was a Roman coin hoard which was discovered in the approximate area during the mid 19th century. [AIP] |
