Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was undertaken during a tree-planting scheme to restore elements of the 18th century landscape of Blaise Castle House Estate, the park and gardens of which are designated as Grade II* on English Heritage's Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in England. Only one tree-planting hole contained any archaeological deposits - a layer of pinky white mortar and a single sherd of 18th century pottery. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
