Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was carried out on the road. The assessment identified that the road at King Street possibly followed the line of a Roman Road. Cantlop Bridge was identified as Listed and a Scheduled Ancient Monument. The route of the improvments also took in the site of a former toll house and a mill race which were the only sites identified that would be affected by the road improvements. [Au(abr)] |
