Abstract: |
Monitoring of the ground works revealed archaeological deposits relating to the medieval periods, the majority being 12th to 13th century in date. A sequence of pits, ditches, post holes, occupation layers, dumping deposits and a cobbled hard standing, all of medieval date, were noted as underlying ground level. Two later post-medieval ditches were also noted. [Au(abr)] |
