Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was carried out on the site. The assessment identified that due to the fast flowing watercourses that ran through the site, it was used for water mills during the medieval and post-medieval period. The mill pond was identified as being truncated by the 1960s BBC television studio, but stuctures around the watercourses were identified as possibly surviving. [Au(abr)] |
