Abstract:		 The evaluation revealed the presence of three Late Iron Age pits and two definite Late Iron Age ditches which confirmed the presence of probable later prehistoric settlement. Also discovered were seven Saxon grave cuts which demonstrated that a known Saxon cemetery discovered to the north-west in 1991/1992 extended into the study area. No evidence for an associated Saxon settlement was revealed. [AIP]
