Abstract: |
The complexity and quality of preservation of the barrow was exceptional in a river valley context. It appeared to be of two phases. Cremated bone and fragments of pottery were recovered. From a shallow scoop outside the ditch were recovered two incomplete pottery vessels, two gold bracelets, and a copper or bronze dagger.[AIP] |
