Abstract: |
Trenches in the west of the site revealed a series of post-medieval gravel metalled surfaces, which sealed undated slots and gullies. A thick layer of fragments of building stone, found in a trench at the north end of the site, may possibly have been related to a late phase of a hall belonging to the bishops of London.[Au] |
