Abstract:
A series of archaeological targeted test pits were undertaken in response to a ground penetrating radar survey. Two of the six test pits were positive for vault debris and human remains. Test pit A contained a greater portion and variety of crypt debris and included whole brick and a large fragment of capstone left in section in situ. Post-medieval iron slag and pieces of coke, related to the process of iron smelting were found in Test pit C. [Au(adp)]
