Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken on a site which lay within the medieval core of Roos. A single ditch was identified which had steep sides and a flat bottom. Artefacts found from the fill of the ditch included a number of slag fragments and two sherds of 13th/14th century Coarse Sandy Ware pottery. It was thought that the ditch served as a drainage ditch during the medieval period. [AIP] |
