Abstract: |
The proposal area lay close to the medieval church of St Mary within an area of shrunken medieval settlement. Sections of two 19th century brick walls were observed as well as part of one side of a brick-built well in the main north-west section. Structures could be seen to the rear of the current building on an OS Survey map of 1905 but no well was indicated. No finds were recovered and no features other than the 19th century brick walls and well were noted. [Au(abr)] |
