Abstract: |
The assessment was carried out to establish the impact of two housing plots within the grounds of the school house. The location and size of the buildings and associated grounds had not been established. However, the close proximity of Soudley Camp meant that the possibility of associated features and deposits within the development area could not be discounted. Further archaeological investigation would be required to establish whether the site had been subject to archaeological activity before the post-medieval period.[Au(abr)] |
