Abstract: |
The excavation of six trenches, five within the factory, revealed no finds or features predating the 19th century. Remains of four earlier phases of the factory were found including walls, floors and cellars. Plough soils were also evidenced. The potential for archaeology predating the 19th century was very limited. [Au(adp)] |
