Abstract: |
Fifty-four trenches measuring 30 x 2m, were excavated. Very few archaeological features were recorded, though an assemblage of flint artefacts of Mesolithic and Neolithic date were recovered in an area where no evidence for Mesolithic material had been recorded. Several probable prehistoric features (eight gullies/ditches) were also recorded, as well as post-medieval field boundaries and a system of ditches associated with water management. [Au(adp)] |
