Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on a proposed housing development on the site of the former St. Michael's School. A single trench was opened which encountered a number of post-medieval features cutting into a series of post-medieval quarry and drainage pits. At the western end of the trench an area was identified as the probable bank and silted bank of the River Westbourne. [Au(adp)] |
