Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a housing development. Prehistoric flints and pottery and early medieval pits had been found in the surrounding area. A Roman road passed nearby. During the evaluation, the end of a 17th century ditch or bedding trench was revealed and post-medieval pottery was found. It was concluded that no further archaeological work would be necessary.
