Abstract: |
Two large cut features, possibly fishponds were identified during the excavation of foundation trenches. Fragments of pottery and roof tile dating from the 13th to 14th century were recovered from the lower fill of these features. Material dating from the 18th century was found in the upper fills and this may have suggested a date for the infilling of these features. [Au] |
