Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed an extensive, waterlogged, archaeological feature, constructed from set logs, across the proposed line of the sewer. Several sherds of late medieval pottery were recovered from immediately above the wooden structure. A number of environmental samples were collected from the waterlogged deposits to assess the potential of the site for the survival of palaeoenvironmental remains. [Au(abr)] |
