Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained during the excavation of a trench for a pipeline between the pumping stations at Newton and Wynhill. No structural or artefactual remains were encountered although examination of the exposed sections provided valuable additional information with regard to the alluvial deposits recorded in the prior field evaluation.
