Abstract: |
The route of the pipeline passed through a landscape rich in archaeological sites dating from the Bronze Age up until the 19th century. The majority of the material encountered was medieval or post-medieval in date, which relateded to nearby settlement sites, agricultural and industrial activity. However, construction across the potentially ancient trackways, may yield dating evidence for their construction and use.[Au(abr)] |
