Abstract: |
An evaluation was undertaken on land proposed for mineral extraction to the south of Sandsfield Farm. An initial geophysical survey identified anomalies of possible archaeological origin. Seven trenches excavated to further explore the anomalies identified that the features were of geological origin and represented changes within the natural gravels and sands. [AIP] |
