Permission had been granted for the construction of new accomodation, toilet and tower screen at the church. The watching brief was conducted during the excavations in the base of the tower and for a trench for the installation of drains and a soak-away. No evidence of any archaeological features or artefacts were discovered. [Au(abr)]
