Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was carried out in response to plans for mineral extraction. The most interesting features recovered were the Medieval Chevington Wood, and the site of chapel and graveyard. Apart from these features, the landscape is one of enclosed fields with little visible from earlier periods. The buildings in the survey area contain some features of archaeological interest.
