Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring was carried out at Dun Cow Lane and comprised of the excavation of one trench in order to cap a disused gas service. Natural subsoil and a deposit of ground makeup were exposed on the western side of the trench, with the backfill of the existing service trench uncovered on the eastern side. Pottery, animal bone and glass was found. [Au(adp)] |
