Evaluation trenches were excavated at the site. Prehistoric archaeology was encountered including a Late Iron Age enclosure and finds of Late Bronze Age struck flint.. No Roman features were identified but Roman pottery and building material was recovered. Post-medieval gravel extraction pits and ditches were also encountered. [Au(adp)] |
