Abstract: |
Only probable field boundaries were revealed by an evaluation in advance of hotel construction. Documentary sources suggested the site had been a preceptory of the Knights Templar, but little evidence for this other than possible architectural fragments was found. However, peat layers at the site had a high palaeoenvironmental potential.[AIP] |
